Essential Leads ("we," "us"), operated by ESSENTIAL INSURANCE AGENCY LLC, operates a lead-distribution platform for licensed insurance agents. This policy describes how we handle information.
1. Who we serve
Our platform is used by insurance agents ("users") who purchase consumer leads. We are not a consumer-facing service.
2. Information we collect
- From agents: name, email, phone, business and licensing details, licensed states, payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers), and account activity.
- Consumer lead data: contact and inquiry information submitted by consumers through advertising forms (e.g., Meta Lead Ads), including name, phone, email, address, and responses to form questions, along with the consent and disclosure text the consumer agreed to at submission.
3. How we use information
To operate the platform: route and deliver leads to agents, process payments, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the service. We deliver purchased lead data to the buying agent's connected CRM.
4. Consumer consent and agent responsibility
Consumers provide their information and consent through third-party advertising forms subject to those platforms' terms. Agents are solely responsible for their own compliance with all applicable laws when contacting leads, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), federal and state Do-Not-Call rules, and licensing requirements, as set out in the Lead Buyer Terms.
5. Sharing
We share information with: the purchasing agent (for leads they buy); service providers that run the platform (hosting, database, payment processing, CRM delivery, email); and as required by law. We do not sell agent personal information.
6. Data retention
Agent-visible lead data is retained for approximately 12 months; financial and audit records are retained for 7 years or as required by law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
8. Your choices
Agents may update account information in settings and request account deletion by contacting us. Consumers who wish to access or delete their information should contact us at info@essentialagency.online; we will act on verified requests as required by applicable law.
9. Consumer rights
Depending on residence (for example, California residents under the CCPA), consumers may have rights to access, delete, or opt out regarding their personal information. Requests: info@essentialagency.online.
